In fact, the Internet is flooded with gigabytes of different free English lessons with various accents and methods. But it appears quite difficult to find a proper course which matches your needs. And it's even much harder to find a teacher who has necessary skills and experience.

When I had found this site I thought: “Wow! A lot of British accent! And for free!” To be honest, I could spend my time by using all those free lessons. But it was very interesting to meet the teacher who made those lessons.

I've already completed a number of Conversation and Intensive classes. And every lesson is like a little journey to another huge culture. And teacher's rich experience and excelent sense of humour help me to be more confident every time.

I was searching for a comprehensive phonetic course and I found a Linguaspectrum video on You Tube. The  explanation was so clear and interesting that I've decided to try a conversation classes with Richard.

I'm very happy to find a TEACHER.Not every person speaking english can really teach you and share his knowledges with you like Richard do. His lessons are never boring. I wish I had an english teacher like Richard at school . In this case my English would be at the top level now!

I have been studying at Linguaspectrum for a couple of months now. At first, I started with the intensive classes focusing on pronunciation. Within a month, I was able to improve my British accent, pronunciation, stress and intonation, within two months, I had gained more color and sparkles in my speech, and within three months, I was reading Shakespeare with my online English teacher. I am very grateful for having the opportunity to study with a professional, motivated, humorous and most passionate online English teacher.

Secondly, I have started taking writing classes as well. Although having studied English for almost 6 years at secondary school, it didn't even spring to my mind that there are still tremendous improvements to be done in my own writing skills, till I took the writing lessons. To my suprise, I felt so much confident to talk during the online class and I don't know why! I don't perform that well (I mean feeling so freely to talk) attenting some converstation courses; not online ones but literally go into a classroom. I have been thinking that it might urge me to talk more by having some classmates so my speaking will be improved over the time. But I finally give up after years of trying for I don't feel any improvements. The teachers said: "You are improving, you just don't feel it." It's probably ture but it's also true that I don't feel my speaking is improving. So I lost confidence and thinking maybe I have reached the very limit of my ablility to speaking Engish. The experience of talking to you on online got me to think that perhaps practice speaking English online is a better alternative if go to school doesn't work. During online class, it's only you, it's all about you, so you could think more concentrately. Maybe that's why I felt more freely and more confident to talk. The other cool thing about the online class is I don't have to take notes; you will mark the mistakes my made and email me after class so I can review it afterward. Not that I am lazy but I can more focus on the questions and focus on my thinking. FOCUS is everything when you are learning something. If my experience could help someone who is just about to give up learning English, I would like to say one more thing. Some people say an ideal is like a carrot dangling in front of a donkey; it is not set for achieving, it is set for pursuing. Best wishes, Lori
